Finally the laminate floor is laid for our living room!! It's 100% DIY by hubby, tou tou and I (very little contribution only :P). The laminate floor had been bought for 1 year++ since we moved to our home sweet home. The reason we 'DIO' (do-it-ourselves) is because our living room area is too small approximately 100sq/ft only. Though the labour charges for installing the laminate floor is only RM1.50 per sq/ft BUT there is a ADDITIONAL charges of RM300 for installation area less than 300 sq/ft. Meanings we had saved RM450 :D
For those who plan to install laminate flooring for their home, why not consider DIY? Its not that hard :P However, the only challenging part is at the profile edging, make sure the angle is right.
